Leash Training was designed specifically for owners who want their dogs to stop pulling on the leash and have better leash manners. Walking your dog on a loose leash (no pulling or reacting to stimulus) is one of the most desirable behaviors for every dog owner. Unfortunately, a very small percentage of dog owners ever achieve this goal. The main reasons are improper technique, lack of training, and the wrong equipment.
THIS IS A GREAT OPTION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. ALL SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED OUTDOORS, WHILE SOCIAL DISTANCING.

Leash Training goes way beyonds the basics and gets into advanced leash walking techniques, that integrate basic dog obedience into the walk, to ensure that your dog will never pull on the leash or react to stimulus ever again. This program does require a serious commitment and follow through from the owners after the training is complete, however there is a huge payoff of being able to finally and easily walk your dog with good leash manners
We start dogs with Leash Training at around 16 weeks old. For this program to be effective, dogs must already know some Basic Obedience Training such as sit, stay, down, wait, and watch me. Adult dogs that have already developed bad leash walking behaviors may need Behavior Modification prior to starting the leash training program.
Leash Training can be done entirely outdoors, so it's a very good dog training program if you prefer people not come into your home due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
NOTE: Leash Training does not take the place of Dog Obedience Training or Behavior Modification. Leash Training is a separate service with the only goal is to have your dog walking perfectly on a leash.

The training is not complete when your sessions end, it is just the beginning. Dog training is a life long process, implemented daily. Regular and consistent practice adds to a well behaved and obedient dog.
